Senior Originator (f/m/d)

Join Axpo Greece to grow meaningful partnerships and shape the future of energy across Greece and the Balkans. Drive impactful origination deals that help customers manage risk, access markets, and accelerate renewables.

What you will do:

• Build and manage a portfolio of clients and counterparties (industrial/commercial consumers, retailers, producers, RES and BESS developers)
• Identify opportunities and structure, negotiate, and close short- and long-term transactions (PPAs, hedging services incl. hourly shapes, route-to-market and balancing, BESS tolling, market access, end-user supply, GoO trading)
• Generate profit through short- and long-term deals across Greece, Albania, and North Macedonia
• Originate partnerships with new clients and counterparties; expand Axpo’s regional network
• Support Middle and Back Office with deal execution and bookings
• Monitor policies and market regulations; assess impacts and advise on commercial and operational decisions
  
  
  

What you bring & who you are:

• Must-have: 5+ years in trading/origination or related commercial roles; deep understanding of Greek energy market and regulations
• Must-have: Ability to explain structured products to clients; strong analytical and presentation skills
• Must-have: Fluent English and proficient Greek, written and spoken
• Must-have: Strong stakeholder management across risk, trading, scheduling, structuring, credit, accounting, and legal
• Ideally: Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, collaborate openly, and grow responsibility with limited supervision
