  • Conduct thorough testing, simulation, and debugging of automation hardware and software.

  • Integrate automation systems with sensors, actuators, HMIs, SCADA, and existing equipment.

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, PLC logic descriptions, and SOPs.

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems.

  • Ensure all systems meet regulatory and safety compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process, electrical, and mechanical engineers.

  • Develop automation protocols, safety interlocks, and system specifications.

  • Train operations and maintenance personnel on control systems and automation interfaces.

  • Commissioning and Troubleshooting of equipment with remote support.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).

  • Proficiency in designing and troubleshooting industrial control systems and instrumentation.

  • Strong understanding of automation communication protocols (4–20 mA, Modbus RTU/TCP, HART).

  • Experience integrating sensors and field devices (e.g., pH, level, pressure, turbidity, DO, MLSS).

  • Knowledge of SCADA, HMI development, and data acquisition systems.

  • Familiarity with Computers and Networks.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marine-certified instrumentation and hazardous-area-rated devices.

  • Hands-on experience with VFD systems and/or wastewater treatment automation.

  • Project management or lead automation role on system integration projects.
