Procurement Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Conduct new business contracts and manage suppliers’ payment
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while mitigating risks.
• Manage purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with Line managers and teams to identify material needs and align procurement activities with project schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contract terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about trends, pricing, and supply chain challenges in the construction sector.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards in procurement processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior procurement team members.
  
  

Job Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the Construction or Res or Facility Management industry
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent command of MS-Office Suite
• Understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes
• Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting processes
• Familiarity with ESG principles in procurement strategies, including sustainable sourcing and ethical vendor selection.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
