As an Assistant Front Office Manageryou will

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Front Office, ensuringsmooth and efficient operations
  • Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy andtimely completion
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely andprofessional manner
  • Ensure adherence to all hotel policies and procedures, as well asall local and national regulations
  • Supervise and manage employees
  • Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties inemployees' absence
  • Assist with any other duties as required by the line manager oranother member of the management team
  • Support handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolvinggrievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others
  • Interact with customers on a regular basis throughout the propertyto obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overallsatisfaction
  • Cooperate with other hotel departments to make sure the work isplanned and organized efficiently
  • Perform Front Desk/Guest Relations/Guest Services/Butler duties inhigh demand times
  • Be in charge of Front Office in absence of Front Office Manager

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of front office experience in a luxury hotelenvironment
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
  • Additional language knowledge would be consider an extra asset
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and Opera
  • Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and CRM
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
