Health & Safety Engineer

Samaras & Associates Ltd. (www.exyppsamaras.gr), a leading provider of External Protection & Prevention Services in Greece, offers expert consultancy in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality, and Environment. We are actively involved in major construction and industrial projects across the country.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are currently looking to collaborate with a Safety Engineer to support Health & Safety implementation on-site during critical phases of operational readiness at a large-scale project in Thessaloniki.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily on-site monitoring of safety conditions and compliance with applicable Greek legislation (Ν. 3850/2010, Π.Δ. 305/1996).
• Conduct toolbox talks and regular site safety inspections.
• Identify unsafe acts or conditions and report findings to site management.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and assist in enforcing safety procedures (including LOTO, work permits, etc.).
• Cooperate with project supervisors, subcontractors, and HSE teams to support a safe working environment.
• Maintain site safety documentation and contribute to incident prevention efforts.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Health & Safety, or related technical field.
• Good knowledge of Greek health & safety regulations.
• Very good knowledge of Greek and English (written & spoken).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Own vehicle and driving license.
  
  
  

The collaboration will be under a freelance contract (invoice-based).
