Safety Engineer

As a Health & Safety Engineer, you will ensure that our production facilities operate in a safe, compliant, and sustainable manner - protecting our people while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The position is based at our headquarters in Kilkis, where you’ll work closely with production teams, supervisors and management to drive a proactive safety culture across all manufacturing areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor health & safety programs and procedures in line with company and legal standards.
 - Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
 - Investigate incidents, define root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
 - Deliver safety trainings and awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
 - Maintain and update all H&S documentation, reports and safety performance indicators.
 - Collaborate with production managers and technical departments to integrate safety into daily operations.
 - Promote a culture of accountability, prevention and continuous improvement in workplace safety.
 
Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:
- University or TEI degree as an Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, Production & Management Engineer (or anything similar)
 - 0–2 years of professional experience in a similar position or in industrial environments
 - Familiarity with Tekmon software will be considered an asset
 - Certification of 100-hour H&S training from ELINYAE (Hellenic Institute for Occupational Health and Safety) or a similar program will be considered a plus
 - Very good knowledge of computers and the English language
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - A proactive attitude with strong critical thinking skills
