Civil Engineer

Job Description
Hill International, a global leader in construction management, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team on an exciting and high-profile airport project in Crete. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure development while working with an experienced, multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities

• Understanding the construction plan of the project.
• Determining the time constraints to complete the job.
• Identifying the raw material and manpower required.
• Ensuring the raw materials used are as per the specifications.
• Supervising along with the contractor the construction site.
• Managing daily activities on the site.
• Working in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other team members.
• Coming up with technical solutions for problems that are causing a delay in the projects.
• Adhering to all the environmental and safety standards.
  

Qualifications

• A university degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry of which at least 10 years on roads and Geotech.
• Construction experience in medium to large projects (hospitals, museums, airports, Hospitality projects etc.)
• O rganizational skills.
• Professional knowledge of the English language
• The candidate should be based in or be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language.
