Accounting Specialist

Unismack SA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing both accounting and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with internal and external audits and financial reviews
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments
• Manage and process payroll for all employees
• Calculate salaries, deductions, contributions, and taxes
• Submit declarations to ERGANI, AADE, and other relevant authorities
• Maintain payroll and employee records
• Support internal and external payroll audits
• Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll
• Collaborate with the HR department on employee-related matters

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of labor and tax legislation
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with accounting and payroll software (e.g., EpsilonNet, SingularLogic)
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
