Sales and Marketing Specialist

Transport Providers & Shipping S.A. (T.P.S. Greece S.A.) a Freight Forwarding company based at Thessaloniki, Greece is seeking to recruit a person for a position in its sales department. The candidate must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, a university degree ideally in Marketing/Shipping/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Business Administration and professional knowledge degree in English language.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Contact by phone or e-mails on daily basis potential customers offering the services of the company
• Preparing offers and submit them to companies that are interested in the company’s services
• Organizing meetings with them in Greece or abroad when needed
• Traveling abroad when needed, participating in conferences across the globe
• Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Education : Ideally in Marketing / Shipping / Logistics / Supply Chain/Operation Research / Business administration subjects.
• 2 to 3 years experience in a Freight Forwarding Sales department or Customer Service or in any kind of Service Provider company.
• Good Knowledge of MS Office
• Advanced level in English (spoken, written), second language will be an advance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond under pressure and tight deadlines
• Organization, perception and communication skills
• Business acumen
• Team spirit, consistency and professionalism
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple issues
