Accountant

Iason Skouzos and Partners, one of the most reputable and well-established law firms in Greece, is seeking an Accountant to join and support the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording and monitoring of income and expense documents


• Managing and tracking client disbursements


• Overseeing the invoicing cycle (issuance, filing, and collection tracking)


• Supporting payroll procedures


• Assisting in the preparation of financial and tax reports


• Collaborating with the external accountant for monthly/yearly filings


• Participating in internal financial controls and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)


• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting ERP systems (e.g., Softone, Epsilon)


• Understanding of basic payroll processes (e.g., employment contracts, salaries, deductions)


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• High sense of responsibility and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance department (ideally in a law firm or professional services company)


• Experience in managing cross-border invoicing


• Knowledge of basic labor and insurance regulations
