AIOps Engineer

NTT Data Greece team is looking for a AIOps Engineer in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector.

Your role:

• Designing and implementing automated workflows to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
• Developing and deploying AI/ML models to predict and prevent IT incidents across Linux, Windows, storage, and backup environments.
• Using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
• Managing and optimizing Linux and Windows servers, as well as storage and backup solutions.
• Implementing and maintaining virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Building and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk, and others.
• Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Implementing AIOps platforms to automate incident detection, correlation, and resolution.
• Managing and optimizing ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) and workflows in line with ITIL best practices.
• Ensuring security and compliance through firewalls, encryption, access controls, and regular audits.
• Collaborating with development, operations, and IT teams to support infrastructure needs and deliver resilient services.
• Documenting procedures, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, automation, and AIOps practices.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including system administration and optimization.
• Proficiency in storage and backup technologies, and experience with virtualization platforms.
• Solid scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation and integration.
• Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Splunk) and strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Knowledge of ITSM platforms and workflow optimization, with a solid understanding of ITIL standards.
• You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required)
