Responsibilities:

  • Conducts medical audits either by phone or through home visits in cases of employee absence due to illness and records the audit results in both physical and electronic files
  • Reviews submitted medical documentation and decides whether the absence due to illness is justified. In cases defined by the Personnel Regulation, refers the employees to the competent Primary Health Committees
  • Audits cases of employees who are absent due to illness beyond the limits set by the PPC Personnel Regulation and the decisions of the Board of Directors, the CEO and the Group Human Resources and Organization General Division
  • Participates in the referral process for cases exceeding the allowed sick leave days to the competent bodies (General Committee for Health Evaluation of Personnel - Council of Experts for Conversion of Work Capacity Evaluation)


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a University in Medicine
  • Clinical Specialty in Internal Medicine or Surgery will be considered an additional qualification
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience as a trainee in a Clinical Specialty of Internal Medicine or Surgery
  • License to practice Medicine
  • Title of Medical Specialty
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
  • Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
