Purpose of the job:

The Sites Quality Management System Manager ensures that the Management System applicable to the sites is adapted to the business needs, deployed, used and compliant with the Alstom/Region's referential, in relation with local EHS and E&C managers to ensure coherence of actions related to the Management System

Reports directly to:

Country Quality Director

Main Responsibilities

Deployment of Alstom Policy and QMS on sites:

  • To Coordinate Alstom and Region Line processes and method & tools local deployment, together with local “Quality métiers” functions
  • To ensure Process governance, Risk and Opportunity management with site interested parties
  • To Provide local teams with effective support (training, day-to-day coaching) as for process application
  • To Ensure Quality Management System documentation is properly managed, updated, communicated
  • To Keep informed the site management team about the status of processes deployment / implementation / results

Compliance of sites QMS:

  • To Ensure site QMS conformance with Alstom and Region QMS, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM...
  • To Enhance the assessment of QMS effectiveness through Internal audit organization
  • To Issue yearly internal audit planning (including workstation audits) and monitors/controls its achievement
  • To Prepare, follow, and analyze QMS assessments achieved by certification bodies and main customers. Communicate about QMS improvement actions, through Quality network (site “Quality métiers” functions)
  • To Ensure "Problem Solving Tool" action plan management, following findings list issued after system audits
  • To ensure organization and consolidation results of Process Reviews, and site Quality Management Review
  • With effective organization of internal and external audits and management of action plans resulting from them (actual progress consistent with closing deadlines)

Compliance of Suppliers:

  • Developing and deploying Supplier Quality Processes and Sharing of good practices
  • Strengthening Suppliers performance within the Country
  • Supporting the Region to meet Supplier Quality Excellence
  • Managing and evaluating supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met
  • Leading cross-functional teams to address supplier quality issues
  • Conducting supplier audits to drive process standardization and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to define supplier quality parameters

Performance measurements:

  • Respect of yearly Quality System event deadlines (process reviews, QMR, internal audits),
  • Effective management of action plans resulting from external, internal and supplier audits (actual progress consistent with closing deadlines)
  • Compliance of the Site Management System with the AT/PL requirements and other local requirements.
  • Supplier Quality performances ( No of NCR, NCR closed on time, First Article Inspection Go On Time, Audit Actions Closed on time, etc)

Job Location / Mobility

Athens , with some travels and/or audits missions- within Country or Cluster

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Master degree (technical or engineering)
  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset

Experience

Mandatory:

  • Quality professional background
  • Quality management system, project and operation

Competencies & Skills

  • Rigor, Communication, knowledge of Quality standard (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM,...) and quality tools
  • Experience in operational activities and in documentation management
  • Data driven and courageous - Ability to manage teams in cross and multicultural relationships,
  • Collaboration and team working,
  • Experience in supplier management
