Accounting / Data Entry Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounting/Data Entry Assistant to strengthen our team. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and responsibility in handling financial data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and entering purchase and expense invoices into the ERP system
• Reviewing and recording supplier payments
• Communicating with suppliers to reconcile account balances and resolve discrepancies
• Invoicing
• Properly archiving accounting documents in accordance with company procedures
• Supporting the continuous improvement of processes
• Participating in internal audits and procedures when needed

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

• University or Technical Institute degree in Accounting, Finance, BA or related
• About 2 years of relevant experience in an organized accounting department
• Knowledge of tax legislation and double-entry bookkeeping (Category C books)
• Basic knowledge of myDATA platform will be considered an asset
• Experience in using ERP systems (preferably PYLON ERP by EPSILON NET)
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong team spirit
• Good command of the English language
