Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Northern European market. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a background in furniture, interiors, or wood product sales, who thrives in a remote, independent work environment and has a solid network in the design or manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Northern Europe
- Build and maintain strong relationships with furniture manufacturers, designers, and distributors
- Promote Kkervvit’s capabilities in curved plywood and solid wood manufacturing
- Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation and client communication to quotations and closing deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for customer needs
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events (e.g., Interzum, Stockholm Furniture Fair)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in furniture or wood components
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of building long-term B2B relationships
- Familiarity with sustainability standards (e.g., FSC) and European production values
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German, Dutch, or a Scandinavian language is a plus
