As a leading companyin hospitality we are seeking for:
Events Service Manager
The Event Services Manager isresponsible for managing banquet events at the hotel. This personsupervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquetfunctions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed role within thehotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience forguests.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and executeflawless events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions.
- Collaborate with clients tounderstand their event requirements and ensure their vision is brought to life.
- Manage event logistics, includingvenue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations.
- Oversee a team of eventcoordinators and staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strongrelationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners.
- Monitor event budgets andnegotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Provide exceptional customerservice to exceed guest expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, in HospitalityManagement or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience inevent planning or management, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong organizational skills andattention to detail.
- Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in event managementsoftware and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for creating memorableexperiences for guests.
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- A true desire to satisfy the needsof others in a fast paced environment.
- Must be highly organized, resultsoriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in afast-paced changing environment.
- Ability to handle challengingsituations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgement.
- Strong leadership capabilities,with developed communication and listening skills.
- Time Management skills to meetcommitments across multiple departments and roles.
