We are looking for a highly skilled Investment Director and Portfolio Manager to join our Real Estate team.

The Scope of the position:

As an Investment Director and Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities encompass overseeing asset management activities with a strong emphasis on executing value-add strategies to optimize portfolio returns. This role demands conducting thorough feasibility studies and developing comprehensive project business plans to inform strategic investment decisions. Furthermore, it involves delivering detailed reporting to key stakeholders and leading complex negotiations to achieve optimal terms for projects and investments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement real estate investment strategies aligned with corporate objectives, risk tolerance, and market trends.
• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across sectors.
• Lead acquisition and disposition processes, including deal structuring, due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiations.

Portfolio Management

• Oversee a portfolio of real estate assets, optimizing performance through strategic asset planning, leasing strategy, capex, and operational improvements.
• Monitor asset-level and portfolio-level KPIs, ensuring targets for ROI, IRR, cash flow, and appreciation are met or exceeded.
• Manage portfolio rebalancing, diversification, and capital allocation decisions.

Market Research & Risk Management

• Analyze macroeconomic trends, demographic data, regulatory changes, and local real estate market dynamics.
• Assess investment risk and return profiles and implement mitigation strategies across the portfolio.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional teams including acquisitions, development, asset management, and finance.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (brokers, property managers, JV partners, and legal counsel).
• Present investment updates, financial reports, and strategy recommendations to executive leadership and investment committees.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in real estate investments and portfolio management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering
• A Master's degree or a MBA will be consider as an asset
• Proven track record in sourcing, underwriting, closing, and managing real estate deals across asset classes.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methods (DCF, IRR, cap rate), and investment analysis.
