Your main responsibility

• Design Evaluation: Review and assess architectural and structural designs to ensure compliance with project requirements, regulations, and technical standards.
• Technical & Estimation Support: Provide technical assistance to the pre-measurement and cost estimation teams, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of quantity take-offs and budgeting processes.
• Project & Site Management: Oversee designated parts of construction projects, supervise building works on-site, ensure proper implementation of technical designs and drawings, and coordinate subcontractors to meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Procurement Coordination: Liaise with quantity surveyors regarding material pricing, ordering, and procurement to ensure project cost control and timely availability of resources.
• Operational Flexibility: Perform multitasking duties as required, demonstrate adaptability in taking on additional responsibilities, and support cross-functional teams as needed.
• Mobility & Communication: Remain flexible for travel or relocation to other regions based on business needs and attend meetings as requested by the Technical Operations Director to ensure effective communication and alignment.

Your main qualifications/skills

• Educational Background: Master’s degree (MSc) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: 5 to 15 years of proven experience in a relevant position within the construction or engineering sector.
• MS Office Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
• Project Management Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
• Technical Drawing Skills: Excellent command of AutoCAD for reviewing and developing technical drawings and designs.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
