We are seeking a skilled Network & Security Engineer to support and enhance our network infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. The selected candidate will work closely with the IT team to ensure that our network is secure, resilient, and optimized for business operations. This role involves hands-on work with network devices, firewalls, VoIP systems, and security tools to maintain performance and defend against threats.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a network or security engineering role.

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.

  • Proven experience with firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Sophos).

  • Certification required: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent.

  • Additional certification on firewall technologies is required.

  • Basic understanding of VoIP protocols and systems.

  • Experience with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., PRTG, Wireshark, IDS/IPS).

  • Familiarity with basic system administration on Linux and Windows Server.

  • Scripting ability for automation (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, access controls, and best practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.

  • Communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional environments.
