Formulation Development Scientist

PharmaPath, a Greek pharmaceutical company with a rich history and significant legacy in the pharmaceutical field of generic medicines, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Formulation Development Scientist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

• Actively participate in the formulation development activities of generic pharmaceutical drug products under the guidance of R&D Associate Director.


• Design and performance of pre-formulation and formulation trials of new products including oral solid dosage forms.


• Formulation and process development of new generic drugs, evaluation of results and optimization.


• Development of robust manufacturing processes, and successful technical transfer.


• Compilation of Master formulas, Manufacturing batch records, Process Validation Protocols /Reports, Product Development Reports for new products.


• Compilation of formulation/ process related CMC documents which are part of regulatory filings.


• Data assessment of Manufacturing & Process Validation activities.


• Interact with cross-functional groups such as Analytical R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs and Portfolio Management.


• Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in practices and systems to improve performance and enhance efficiency and quality.


• Review and maintain the technical files of the new products under development.


• Flexibility to work in both R&D and GMP environment.


• Participate in the preparation of the CMC file for the drug delivery product.


• Patent review relevant to formulation development aspects.


• Provide technical assistance/support for other departments as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Pharmaceutical science is a prerequisite


• 2-3 years experience in Drug formulation development


• Very Good knowledge of English


• Excellent computer skills


• High self-management skills


• Capable of working in a team environment
