Lead Mechanical Engineer

GreenTech, the leader in high-end industrial greenhouse sector in the SE Europe, implementing mid & large-scale engineering and construction projects, is looking for a result-oriented, versatile and experienced engineering professional, with strong focus on execution of high-tech construction projects.

Candidate will be a mechanical engineering team leader and work as part of our MEP engineering team structure, with strong focus on managing its mechanical engineering team on design and engineering mechanical applications as well coordinating project execution for various construction projects.

We target on accelerating knowledge and experience of our new team members through exposure, involvement, planning and execution of technological advanced projects in the sector.

Candidate will be expected to:

• Lead a mechanical engineering team of 2-5 professional
• Coordinate the execution of construction projects across engineering team.
• Follow, update and revise the time plan and progress forecast of the projects.
• Liaise with local and international suppliers and subcontractors in every project stage to coordinate design and construction works and ensure project progress
• Draft and administer the contracts with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
• Implement designs and participate in installations of equipment on project sites
• Design, engineer and develop MEP solutions and equipment on ongoing construction projects
• Review construction and MEP drawings and technical specifications at every design stage
• Organize, participate and supervise MEP commissioning procedures on final project stages
• Update, organize and review the Maintenance & Safety procedures applied on operational facilities
• Provide service, support and maintenance of MEP installations on delivered projects

Qualifications:

• Polytechnic University Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Polytechnic Schools only.
• MSc is not essential but will be considered as a plus.
• Previous experience on a team leading role in mechanical engineering environment and/or construction project sites.
• Experienced in project management and project execution.
• Experience using design and engineering tooIs.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office , Autocad.
• Knowledge of MS Project and Revit or other engineering software will be considered a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills.
• Ability to adapt new technologies in construction procedures.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Availability to travel in Greece and abroad
