Junior Mechanical Engineer

GreenTech, the leader in high-end industrial greenhouse sector in the SE Europe, implementing mid & large-scale engineering and construction projects, is looking for a result-oriented, versatile and experienced engineering professional, with strong focus on design and implementation on high-tech construction projects.

Candidate will work as part of our MEP engineering team with strong focus on designing and engineering mechanical applications as well coordinating project execution for various construction projects.

We target on accelerating knowledge and experience of our new team members through exposure, involvement, planning and execution of technological advanced projects in the sector.

Candidate will be expected to:

• Design, engineer and develop MEP solutions and equipment on ongoing construction project
• Review construction and MEP drawings and technical specifications at every design stag
• Liaise with local and international suppliers and subcontractors in every project stage to coordinate design and construction works and ensure project progres
• Draft and administer the contracts with consultants, suppliers and subcontractor
• Implement designs and participate in installations of equipment on project site
• Supervise various crews on construction of MEP installations on site.
• Organize, participate and supervise MEP commissioning procedures on final project stage
• Follow, update and revise the time plan and progress forecast of the project
• Update, organize and review the Maintenance & Safety procedures applied on operational facilitie.
• Provide service, support and maintenance of MEP installations on delivered projects

Qualifications:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Polytechnic Schools only.
• MSc will be considered as a plus.
• Previous experience of at least 2-5 years in mechanical engineering environment and construction project sites.
• Strong experience using design and engineering tools.
• Prior experience in BIM software (Revit) will be considered a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Autocad.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills.
• Ability to adapt new technologies in construction procedures.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Project management and project planning experience will be considered as aplus
• Availability to travel in Greece and abroad.
