Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Mid/Senior Frontend Developer to join our product development team and help us shape the future of education by delivering new and improved features to our customers.

You will work closely with our backend developers and product designers to develop customer-facing web and native applications using cutting-edge technologies. In this position, you will contribute in:

• Collaborating with product managers and designers to develop and maintain customer-facing web and native applications
• Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback
• Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practice

Job Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• At least 3 years of proven working experience as a Frontend Software Engineer
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or Typescript
• Experience with Angular is required
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Git-based development workflows
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with agile software processes (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

Bonus Points

• Experience with software engineering best practices, such as unit testing and design documentation
• Knowledge of backend technologies, such as Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and AWS Infrastructure
• Experience with system architecture, particularly at scale
