Product Data Engineer

Role Summary

The main objectives of this position are to support all team members related to Product Development, Production and Business functions, regarding the creation, preparation and verification of the corresponding Product Digital Data & their documentation and provide the necessary Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) user support.

Key responsibilities

• Overall participation in the PLM requirements & activities.
• Ensure proper access, participation and data contribution from all functions participating in the Product Development & Delivery processes.
• Enhance PLM business processes according to business’s changing needs & provide sufficient documentation.
• Ensure integrity of digital (master) data in the PLM Platform.
• Support the Product Development & Production teams by creating, maintaining & communicating validated data across the organization according to requirements.
• Contribute to the build-up of Product Structures according to the PLM data-model.
• Support the collection, preparation & communication of the Product Technical Information.
• Follow-up on Product Changes and drive/ assist on their implementation according to requirements in the related eBOM, mBOM & Product Technical Folder.
• Conduct PLM technical knowledge trainings & updates for Theon employees.
• Coordinate with all other business departments and functions as part of a team.
• Assist in the implementation of short term and long-term PLM strategies and objectives.
• Provide high level Business Support on PLM users.

• PLM expansion / Build PLM user awareness / Promote PLM Product Data centralization

• Quality of communication and support to the Theon Sensor’s PLM community

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences or equivalent. However, industry experience will be considered in lieu of qualification where applicable
• 3 years of working experience in related fields will be considered as a plus
• Project Management experience in technology driven projects
• Experience (or awareness) with collection or management of product data
• General PLM/ PDM tool competency will be considered an asset
• Process oriented experience
• MS365 Proficiency
• English Fluency (Written & Oral)
