We are currently seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Technology Team in Athens, Greece.

Your role will encompass:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship and code reviews.
• Design software architecture for system scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and improve development workflows.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous testing strategies.
• Manage deployments, monitor system performance, and resolve production issues.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and analysis documents.
• Act as a liaison between Technology, Business, and vendors.
• Identify and integrate cost-efficient software solutions.
• Provide system support, maintenance, and incident resolution.
• Work with external vendors to implement and support applications.
• Prepare solution documentation and training materials.
• Assist in technology procurement and compliance initiatives.

What you bring to the role:

• University Degree in Computer Science or any other related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong programming skills in PHP, Python, C++, and JavaScript.
• Experience with system architecture and design patterns.
• Proficiency in databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in solution design and development and vendor management.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and oral.
