Senior Presales IT Consultant | Public Sector

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Presales IT Consultant specializing in the Greek Public Sector, who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of public services by identifying and designing software solutions. His / Her technical expertise and strategic mindset contribute directly to the enhancement of Public Sector operations, fostering innovation in central government and public authorities.

What will you need to do:

• Analysis, Design and Documentation of comprehensive, innovative, and scalable technology solutions that align with the business objectives and requirements of public sector clients. This involves understanding client needs, analyzing technical requirements, authoring relevant proposals and crafting compelling solution architectures.
• Enthusiastically seek out new sales opportunities by shaping and proposing solutions applicable to Public sector clients, as well as developing relationships within accounts involved.
• Be responsible in full presales and bidding cycle, such as collecting requirements, technical presentation, proof-of-concept, solution design, feasibility study, tendering, etc.
• Search & select hardware and 3rd party software solutions / products.
• Be the customer’s go-to person and trusted advisor for technical queries and handle customer concerns in an appropriate manner.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in public sector IT.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, microservices, data analytics, and other relevant domains to design cutting-edge solutions that meet client needs and address regulatory requirements.

What will you bring:

• At least 5 years’ experience in professional Presales, Consulting or Delivery in Public Sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sector's unique challenges and requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software / Engineering or related studies. Master’s degree in relevant field will be considered a plus.
• Proven hands-on experience in Bid Management, Bid Writing and Presales (IT Project Management or IT Consulting) will be considered as a plus.
• Experience in reputable vendors, demonstrating a proven track record in successfully delivering software projects within the Public Sector will be considered as a plus.
• Experience in researching client-specific business needs and architecting appropriate solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills regarding technical information, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Very good knowledge of English language.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with constant cooperation and interaction.
• Knowledge and experience of the tender submission procedures through the Greek National System of Electronic Public Procurement (ESIDIS) are strongly desirable.
