Project QA/QC Engineer

We are currently looking for a Project QA/QC Engineer to join our QA/QC team in Athens offices.

Your role will encompass:

• Ensures understanding and implements Metlen Energy & Metals S.A. and the Project’s Quality Standards.
• Responsible for monitoring shop/site inspection activities of the subcontractors as specified within the ITPs and Project Quality Plan.
• Issue Notifications for Inspection (NOI) to the Client according to the approved ITP witness points and the contractual requirements.
• Review quality documentation issued by the manufacturers and /or subcontractors.
• Attend at meetings with Subcontractors/ Suppliers.
• Attend Audits at Manufacturers and Site teams.
• Reports Non-Conformities/observations to the Project QA/QC coordinator.
• Required to adhere and implement all Company Policies and Procedures.

What you bring to the role:

• University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil engineering
• At least 1 year of experience in quality roles at EPC projects
• Familiar with technical standards, regulations, directives (IEC, ISO, EN, ASME standards & PED/ATEX/ EMC/ LV directives)
• Familiar with special processes (Welding, Painting etc.)
• Familiar Quality assurance functions.
• Critical thinking & troubleshooting capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
