The Role in a Nutshell

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the preparation of financial and tax reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partner.

Your Day-to-Day

Record and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Manage payments and monitor financial transactions.

Maintain and reconcile accounting records using the double-entry system.

Assist in the preparation of tax and financial statements.

Support payroll processing and insurance obligations, if required.

Collaborate with external partners, including banks, public authorities, and auditors.

Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

Stay updated on changes in accounting and taxation laws.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

Two years of experience in an accounting department, preferably working with a double-entry system.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

Understanding of basic tax and labor regulations.
