As the Security Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim's Koropi site, you will be at the forefront of our security efforts, ensuring the safety and protection of our people, assets, and information. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering BI's comprehensive security and crisis management strategies, standards, and programs.

This position is based in Greece and reports directly to the Head of GFE Koropi site.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Security Initiatives: Develop, implement, and manage security strategies and programs tailored for the Koropi site.
  • Strategic Guidance: Ensure that the Corporate security strategy is effectively delivered into the site providing guidance and supporting decision-makers locally and globally.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and advise on risks related to security, crisis management and business continuity planning.
  • Team Leadership: Build and maintain a highly skilled and trained security team, directing staff in security processes, practices, and policies.
  • Project Leadership: Lead the development and local execution of security projects and initiatives.
  • Security awareness : Maintain a robust process that continuously assess potential threats and risks ensuring that all key stakeholders are kept aware of potential impacts on the site and colleagues.
  • Crisis Management: Ensure a functional Incident & Crisis Management system is in place and ready to respond to any situation.


WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Experience: Proven experience in private/public security and crisis management, with a strong track record of success.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of TAPA regulations and professional certification in Security Management is a plus.
  • Skills: Prior experience in crisis management, with the ability to prepare and deliver a coordinated response to crisis situations.
  • Confidence to operate in a challenging environment, sometimes under time pressures and manage the expectations of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration , IT or other relevant field Certifications in these areas are preferred; Security, Risk or Crisis Management..
  • Fluency in Greek and English Language.
