The IT Operations and Global Command Center organization delivers excellence in the pursuit of those breakthroughs through industry-leading infrastructure operations performance. We ensure optimal performance of the networks, cloud and on-premise services that power Pfizer's business processes. We strive to revolutionize service dependability by applying advanced analytics to drive predictive detection, identifying potential issues with our services and intervening before they disrupt our business. We place data at the heart of what we do and apply a relentless focus on continuous improvement to enable Pfizer’s business processes and patient outcomes.
The Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement will lead a cross-functional improvement practice, driving the identification, prioritization and value realization of service enhancements that align with business objectives and organizational strategy.
This position requires a forward-thinking professional who can champion both strategic and incremental improvements, fostering a culture of operational excellence and innovation. As a mentor and thought leader, you will play a critical role in embedding best practices and driving efficiency across the organization.

How You Will Achieve It
- Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to develop, maintain and optimize the continuous improvement framework.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure services in alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop the review governance for infrastructure services alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain a clear understanding of business and customer needs. Measure and continually improve customer satisfaction, service quality and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement Loop across digital stakeholders. The Continuous Improvement Loop consists of tools, processes and artefacts.
- Partner with data analytics teams and infrastructure leads to develop and establish common prioritization, value measurement and reporting mechanisms to ensure effectiveness & value realization of continuous improvement efforts.
- Implement process improvement frameworks to optimize infrastructure services.
- Evaluate improvement options based on their potential benefits, costs, risks, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Measure impact of planned and in-progress improvement programs on both infrastructure and partner organizations.
- Ensure that impact feeds into prioritization, activity sequencing decisions, internal (infrastructure team) and external (customer) communication.
- Partner with workstream leads to ensure improvement programs are consistently delivered on time.
- Ensure operating ecosystem and all infrastructure programs are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure services, working in diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc)
- Related Experience required in Reporting & Analytics and Project Management process/activities.
- In-depth knowledge of project management and digital solution development procedures.
- Proven ability to develop strong partnerships across functions.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence and motivate matrixed teams.
- Proactive problem solver and resourceful in dealing with barriers or difficult situations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; comfortable managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- MBA or project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Process improvement certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- ITIL certification (Foundation v3 or v4)
