Responsibilities:
- Prepares accounting documents of intercompany transactions on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Undertakes the accounting monitoring and reconciliation of accounts between the parent and subsidiary companies of the group
- Checks the consolidation entries of intercompany transactions
- Provides support in external and internal audit issues
- Communicates and participates in providing directions to Departments of the company, that carry out transactions within the Group
- Communicates and coordinates in time the affiliated companies of the Group for the development of intercompany transaction reports and the resolution of problems
- Participates in the preparation of the Documentation File for Intercompany Transactions and other tax obligations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a University in Accounting or Finance
- Master's degree in Accounting will be considered an additional qualification
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in a similar position in a group or multinational accounting office or in a corresponding department of an auditing company
- Experience in the energy sector will be considered an additional qualification
- License First (A΄) Class Accountant from Economic Chamber of Greece will be considered an additional qualification
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of the financial transactions of the sector (electricity market) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
