Electrical Design Engineer

We are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design team.

Your role will encompass

• Involvement in all development stages of PV and BESS projects
• Liaising with the engineering team in contract finalization of the engineering/technical annexes
• Controlling scheme review as well as grids regulations review by liaising with local consultants for projects around the world aiming to derive the scope of supply and scope of works
• Defining the equipment specifications and schedules for commissioning
• Identifying the sources of potential problems, proactively taking preventive measures to avoid any project risks as well as determining response actions to mitigate any negative impact
• Assisting with drafting the scope of work and estimating the respective project budgets for PV and BESS projects

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or other relevant engineering fields
• Electrical Licensing is desirable
• At least 2 years experience in PV, BESS, MV-HV electrical installations as Design Engineer
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of Autocad, PVSyst, Electrical Design
• Fluency in English is essential
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
