Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to employ an Experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic internal Finance Team.

As an Accountant, you will be working in a team of results-oriented professionals supporting KPMG internal financial records. In addition, you will collaborate with multiple and diverse teams of KPMG to understand business needs.

Responsibilities

Reporting to a Chief Accountant, the right incumbent will be primarily responsible to assist the Accounting and Finance Team to ensure performance and high-quality standards.

More specifically, the main tasks can be summarized but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures the accurate and timely update of accounts and general ledgers.


• Prepares tax forms, including VAT, withholding taxes and contracts lists.


• Prepares account reconciliations for the Mydata platform.


• E-invoicing and maintains Customers Master file.


• Keep up to date with changes in tax accounting laws.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or relative subjects.


• At least 3 years of accounting experience either gained in a large professional services firm or accounting office.


• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Good understanding of IFRS standards.


• Strong research and data analytics capabilities.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.


• Ability to adapt easily in a fast- paced environment with rapid business changes.


• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and accuracy with a focus on high quality deliverables.
