Automation Engineer

EVIOP-TEMPO S.A., a leading company in the production of industrial electrical goods for Siemens & Phoenix Contact is currently seeking to hire a “Automation Engineer”, based in Vasiliko Chalkidas.

The position reports to Maintenance and Equipment Manager and is mainly responsible for ensuring the effective execution of projects in accordance with the company's quality standards and within planned schedules and budgets.

Main Responsibilities:

• PLC Programming ( Siemens Tia Portal, Siemens Step 7, Siemens Logo)


• Development of SCADA-HMI applications (Siemens WinCC)


• Electrical panel design


• Optimizing and improving the existing machine processes


• Implementation of new equipment or retrofitting of existing equipment


• Extending the functionality of existing software solutions


• Knowledge of speed controller configuration


• Solving automation/electronic/electrical issue that lead to downtimes and troubleshooting

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or relevant field


• 2-4 Years’ experience in relevant field


• Excellent knowledge of PLC - SCADA - HMI programming


• Good knowledge of conventional automation


• Experience in electrical installations with emphasis on industrial installations


• Proven English level B1 or better


• MS Office Knowledge (especially EXCEL)


• Highly analytical mind, with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
