We are looking for a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Business Analyst specializing in the insurance industry. In this role, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the insurance sector by working with our innovative insurance aggregator platform. As an insurance aggregator, we aim to simplify the insurance shopping experience for consumers.
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in understanding market dynamics, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to optimize our processes and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in eliciting, analyzing and documenting business requirements
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences in the insurance industry
- Analyze data to understand customer behavior, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities
- Ensures that all decisions are data-driven and that the product and business development activities are aligned with overall company goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and designers to define requirements for platform enhancements
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and new feature development
- Propose and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation
- Build business cases in support of various strategic initiatives. Develop business-specific market, product and customer knowledge to serve the needs of management. Present findings to internal stakeholders in an effective and digestible manner
- Prepare and organize workshops for gathering business requirements, cooperating efficiently with all relevant stakeholders and conducting requirement workshop
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in business analysis
- Experience in process documentation and analysis
- Experience with strategic frameworks, strategic planning, analysis design and business case development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills combined with sound decision making
- Comfort in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization and facilitating engagement towards a specific outcome
- Proficiency in MS office is a must (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
