Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Officer to join our SSM Relations & Projects Coordination Unit, part of the Supervisory Relations & Resolution Planning. The Unit coordinates and supervises projects related to the Single Supervisory Mechanism (“SSM”) and serves as the Bank’s primary link with the Joint Supervisory Team (“JST”), ensuring efficient regulatory compliance and effective SSM relationship management.

The Unit’s responsibilities include managing and coordinating regulatory projects (e.g., EBA/SSM Stress Tests, Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process, Risk Appetite Framework, Recovery Plan, Risk Data Aggregation, and Risk Reporting / BCBS239), monitoring regulatory developments, and preparing reports and analyses for senior management.

As an SSM Relations & Projects Coordination Senior Officer, you will work on high-impact projects, collaborate with the Bank’s Risk Management and Finance Units, and coordinate teams under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Perform business analysis of SSM requests, set-up relevant projects and coordinate their implementation.
  • Play a key role in the project management, coordination and/or implementation of regulatory related projects (e.g. ICAAP, Recovery Plan, Risk Appetite Framework, stress testing, EBA questionnaires/exercises).
  • Advise the Head of the Unit on various regulatory and supervisory related issues.
  • Review, propose and implement enhancements of existing internal processes.
  • Monitor the supervisory and regulatory framework of European financial institutions and prepare relevant information memos.

You Will Be a Great Candidate If You

  • Have 4 years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in banking, banking supervision, banking advisory/consulting, financial services statutory audit. Specific experience in the areas of SSM relations, regulatory stress tests, ICAAP, Recovery Plan will be considered a strong asset.
  • Hold bachelor and postgraduate degrees in any of the following areas Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management or a quantitative field of study. Possession of a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CFA, FRM, PRM) will be appreciated.
  • Have excellent command in spoken and written English, and ability to write clear and concise reports for Senior Management audiences.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative spirit, agility and can-do attitude.
  • Have excellent working skills in Word, Excel and Power Point processing. Additional IT skills (e.g. databases, VBA) will be appreciated.
  • Can operate as part of a team and consider integrity and professional behavior as essential.
