Responsibilities:

• Optimizes the techno-economic aspects of conceptual design studies for Hydraulic Projects, based on feasibility studies conducted


• Supports the preparation of feasibility studies for each new proposed business plan for Hydraulic Projects, by conducting preliminary studies related to Fluid Mechanics and Structural works


• Collaborates with other Departments of the Hydraulic Projects Development Branch to determine, through studies and plans, the characteristics of the constructions for new Hydraulic Projects


• Researches technological means of supporting the production and storage of hydraulic energy


• Monitors technological developments in matters of construction and operation of Hydraulic Projects for energy production

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Rural, Surveying Engineering


• Master’s degree in Hydraulic Energy Systems will be considered as an additional qualification


• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the Development, Design and Study of Hydraulic Energy Projects


• Experience in the preparation of technical hydraulic studies (pressure and free surface networks, and generally hydraulic installations) will be considered as an additional qualification


• License to practice as an Engineer in the relevant specialty of the degree of study


• Good knowledge of the English language


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet


• Knowledge of Autocad


• Knowledge of software for the design - study of hydraulic networks under pressure and free surface will be considered as an additional qualification


• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)


• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
