Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Sales Manager – Wholesale to drive the growth of That Gorilla Brand’s retail partnerships. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in securing and managing wholesale accounts, building strong relationships, and delivering on ambitious sales targets. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our presence in both Greek and international markets, aligning with the brand’s ethos and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retailer Acquisition:
- Proactively identify, pitch to, and secure partnerships with new retailers in Greece and key international markets.
- Research and target stockists that align with That Gorilla Brand’s ethos and product offerings.
- Develop bespoke proposals and negotiate agreements to onboard new wholesale accounts.
2. Collaboration with Agencies & Showrooms:
- Build, collaborate with, and maintain strong relationships with agencies and showrooms in international markets to promote That Gorilla Brand.
- Work with international partners to identify new wholesale opportunities and maximise the brand’s global presence.
- Coordinate with showrooms to ensure the brand is effectively represented to prospective stockists.
3. Account Management:
- Nurture and develop relationships with existing wholesale partners to ensure long-term collaboration and increased order volumes.
- Act as the main point of contact for partner enquiries, ensuring exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
4. Market Research & Strategy:
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for wholesale growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to set sales targets and devise strategies to achieve them.
5. Wholesale & Distribution:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to wholesale partners.
- Oversee partnerships with distributors and agents to optimise the brand’s presence in international markets.
6. Retail Presence Optimisation:
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure stockists have the tools and materials needed to represent That Gorilla Brand effectively.
- Monitor sell-through rates at partner locations and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
7. Sales Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, highlighting key successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and wholesale communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
Wholesale Expertise: Demonstrated success in securing wholesale partnerships and achieving sales targets, ideally within the fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle sectors.
Global Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the wholesale landscape in Greece and experience working with international agencies and showrooms.
Relationship-Driven: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships with stockists, agencies, and distributors.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close agreements with wholesale partners that align with business objectives.
Analytical Mindset: Skilled in analysing market trends, sales data, and partner performance to inform strategic decisions.
Proactive & Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated with a strong focus on driving results and exceeding targets.
Language Skills: Fluency in Greek and English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
