Job Description

Scorpios is seeking for a Develpment Director that will oversee all aspects of development projects,from initial concept to ongoing maintenance. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader with deep expertise in engineering and architecture, capable of guiding projects through construction, design, and critical opening and exit phases for existing and new

Scorpios projects, meeting all business set timelines.The successful candidate will blend strategic vision with detailed oversight, working closely with all Scorpios teams in design, engineering, architecture, finance,construction etc.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Leadership:
  
  

Direct all aspects of Scorpios’ development projects, from initial concept and design through construction and maintenance. This role demands active participation and oversight to ensure every detail aligns with our brand's high standards.

• Hands-On Management:
  
  

Engage directly with the development process, particularly during critical opening and exit project phases. Hands-on approach will involve close coordination with construction teams, architects, and engineers to address challenges and ensure smooth project completion and transition of a project to the operation team.

• Strategic Oversight and Execution:
  
  

Balance strategic planning with detailed, day-to-day project management. Provide leadership across all stages of development, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the exceptional quality that defines Scorpios.

• Technical Expertise:
  
  

Utilize deep knowledge of engineering and architecture to guide project design and execution. Review technical aspects of projects,offering insights and approvals to ensure compliance with industry standards,codes, and Scorpios' rigorous quality benchmarks.

• Quality and Risk Management:
  
  

Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures throughout the development lifecycle. Identify potential risks,

develop strategies to mitigate them, and ensure all projects meet Scorpios' high standards for design, functionality, and sustainability

Maintenance Oversight:

Oversee the ongoing maintenance of completed properties to ensure they remain in pristine condition and continue to meet

Scorpios' standards of luxury and excellence.

Vendor Management:

Oversee the selection, coordination, and management of vendors and external service providers. Ensure that all parties meet contractual obligations and project requirements.

• Quality Assurance:
  
  

Ensure that all work performed by vendors and external providers meets the required standards of quality and aligns with project specifications.

• Documentation and Reporting:
  
  

Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, performance, and project milestones. Prepare and present regular reports on project status and vendor performance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Coordination:
  
  

Work collaboratively with internal teams, including design, engineering, general head of departments and construction, as well as external consultants and contractors.

Foster strong relationships and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the project’s objectives and timelines.

• Innovative Solutions:
  
  

Advocate for and implement innovative design and construction practices. Leverage your expertise to introduce cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions that enhance project outcomes and reflect Scorpios' commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business/Engineering/Economics
