PROJECT MANAGER FOR SITE SUPERVISION (CUM ARCHITECT-CIVIL ENGINEER)

About the Role:

Ken International is seeking a Project Manager with a proven interest in managing complex construction projects from start to finish, including site supervision responsibilities. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably at a Senior Architect level with a strong Project Management background. A PMP certification will be considered an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Lead the planning, organization, and control of the project to ensure efficient management of materials and personnel.

•Resolve design and technical coordination issues (e.g., finishes, structure, electro-mechanical, landscape).

•Chair progress and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders as required.

•Address contractor requests (e.g., time extensions, change orders, variations) and provide recommendations.

•Ensure onsite quality control, including material testing, storage, and compliance with specifications.

•Collaborate with the project commissioning team to meet world-class quality standards.

•Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction by tracking progress and meeting design expectations.

•Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, inspections, materials, and RFIs while incorporating revisions.

•Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and best practices in project management and technical engineering.

•Oversee weekly and monthly contractor reports, highlighting areas of concern and action plans.

•Conduct site safety inspections and implement hazard prevention practices.

•Lead snagging procedures post-construction to address defective or incomplete works prior to handover.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

•Proven leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities.

•Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

•Proficient in project management software and tools.

•Extensive technical management experience in construction projects.

Education and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

•6+ years of experience in an Architectural or Project Management firm.

•6+ years of experience in supervision and technical roles.

•Proven track record in technical management and leadership.
