Πλήρης απασχόλησηThis role involves providing technical support to end-users, ensuring the availability and performance of IT systems, and contributing to the implementation of system improvements. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve end-user issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, escalating complex issues to higher-level engineering teams as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system security and data integrity.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Document incidents, root cause analyses, and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the planning, testing, and implementation of new hardware and software solutions.
- Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during system upgrades or migrations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations.
- Provide training and knowledge sharing for end-users and other technical staff.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
- Communicate system status, updates, and risks to stakeholders effectively.
- Enforce IT security policies and standards to protect systems and data.
- Sometimes to work after hours/off-peak periods to complete Windows/ Server and network maintenance.
Requirements:
- University Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science or other related field.
- Understanding best practices in IT administration & system security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience will be considered as an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Azure and Intunes will be considered as an advantage.
- Knowledge of AWS will be considered as advantage.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or MCSA will be considered as an advantage.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) will be considered as an advantage.
The relocation to Cyprus is required. Work from the office is compulsory.
The company can provide accommodation for the successful applicant, if he resides outside Limassol.
