Marketing Manager

As a Marketing Manager you will…


Strategic Responsibilities:

·      Develop Comprehensive Marketing Strategies: Create and implement marketing plans that align with the brand’s goals and target audience.

·      Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform decision-making.

·      Digital Transformation: Drive the adoption of digital marketing tools and technologies within the organization.


Digital Marketing Responsibilities:

·      Manage Online Presence: Oversee the brand's website, social media channels, and online review platforms to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.

·      Content Strategy: Plan, create, and distribute high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content tailored for digital platforms.

·      Paid Digital Campaigns: Design and execute pay-per-click (PPC), Google Ads, and social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and bookings.

·      Email Marketing: Develop targeted email campaigns to promote offers, events, and loyalty programs.

Data and Analytics:

·      Monitor Campaign Performance: Use analytics tools to track KPIs like website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.

·      Customer Insights: Leverage data to understand customer behavior and preferences, tailoring marketing efforts accordingly.

·      CRM Management: Optimize customer relationship management systems, including platforms such as: REVINATE: Manage guest feedback, surveys, and email marketing campaigns and GIATA: Ensure accurate, multilingual content distribution across online travel platforms.


Platform-Specific Expertise:

·      GMB (Google My Business): Optimize and maintain the hotel's Google listing for better local search visibility and guest engagement.

·      EXPEDIA TRAVEL ADS: Plan and manage advertising campaigns on Expedia to drive bookings and promote visibility.

·      OTAs (Online Travel Agencies):

·      Booking.com & TripAdvisor: Monitor and optimize listings, manage reviews, and analyze performance metrics.

·      WEBHOTELIER: Ensure accurate updates and changes, including room availability, pricing, and promotions.

·   iHost: Manage operational efficiency and guest experience through property management system (PMS) integrations.

·      EXCLUSIVI: Leverage personalized guest communication and upselling tools to enhance the customer journey.


Collaboration and Leadership:

·      Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with sales, operations, and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging and execution.

·      Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identify and build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and event organizers to amplify marketing reach.

·      Train and Mentor: Lead and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Innovation:

·      Embrace Emerging Technologies: Explore trends like augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and AI in marketing for a competitive edge.

·      Mobile Optimization: Ensure all digital touchpoints are mobile-friendly and optimized for the on-the-go traveler.


Entry Requirements:


Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, Hospitality, or a relevant field.


Experience:

·      Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management; handling experience with hospitality-focused platforms will be strongly valued.

·      Demonstrated ability to work on both large-scale and small-scale projects in a collaborative team environment.


Technical Skills:

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

·      Familiarity with tools and platforms such as REVINATE, GMB, EXPEDIA TRAVEL ADS, OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, TripAdvisor), WEBHOTELIER, iHost, GIATA, and EXCLUSIVI.


Creativity and Problem-Solving:

·      Strong creative problem-solving skills with the ability to foster and develop both your own and others' ideas.

·      Excellent attention to detail with a focus on organization and deadline management in fast-paced environments.


Communication Skills:

·      Ability to communicate effectively with designers, marketing team members, and hotel staff.

·      Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.

·      Comfortable delivering presentations and providing clear feedback.


Personal Attributes:

·      Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.

·      Highly organized with a keen sense of follow-up and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

·      Adaptable to dynamic environments and skilled in prioritizing tasks effectively.
