Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and business support Manager to join our team in Athens, Greece. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving financial strategy to support our business goals.
- Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing daily operations and mentoring team members
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's objectives
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage budgeting processes and conduct regular financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Greek financial regulations and tax laws
- Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for decision-making
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
- Oversee financial systems and recommend upgrades as necessary
- Previous experience in hospitality would be a strong asset
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Greek financial regulations and tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting systems
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
