Role Overview
The Head Waiter/tress is responsible for overseeing the daily operation service of Cultivos Cafe & Lounge Area, ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers. This includes coordinating seating arrangements and managing customer interactions with professionalism and efficiency.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout all guest interactions.
- Managing and training café waitstaff, ensuring the team provides excellent service and follows café protocols and standards.
- Greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
- Ensuring the café environment is clean, organized, and welcoming, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are processed and served accurately and efficiently.
- Handling customer feedback and complaints promptly, resolving any issues with professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing café inventory, including food, drinks, and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained and minimizing waste.
- Monitoring daily sales and performance, reporting any issues or opportunities to improve service efficiency.
- Ensuring the café is operating smoothly, particularly during busy hours, and maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
Requirements
- 2 or more years working experience in a similar role
- Degree / Diploma in tourism or in a relevant field
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
