Role Overview

The Pastry Chef ensures consistency in the quality of all pastries and desserts, while also keeping up with industry trends to deliver innovative and high-quality products for hotel guests.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Managing daily pastry kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow


• Ensuring consistency and high standards in the quality and presentation of all desserts and baked goods


• Overseeing inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage of ingredients


• Maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen


• Managing food costs, ensuring cost-effective practices without compromising quality


• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service


• Monitoring production schedules to ensure timely availability of pastries and desserts


• Continuously evaluating and improving pastry offerings based on guest feedback and industry trends

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels or fine dining establishments


• Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts


• Good organizational and time management skills


• Very good knowledge of English language


• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines


• Strong team player & result-oriented

• Staff accommodation with Wi-Fi access & A/C


• Half board (Breakfast & Lunch)
