Role Overview

The Spa Trainee assists in providing exceptional spa services, learning various treatments and supporting the daily operations of the spa.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Assisting senior spa therapists in performing spa treatments, learning and practicing various techniques under supervision.

• Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring everything is ready for the therapist and guest use.


• Observing guest consultations and learning how to assess guest needs and recommend suitable treatments.


• Assisting in the setup and breakdown of spa areas, ensuring all areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.


• Learning and maintaining knowledge of spa services, products, and treatments offered, and assisting in promoting them to guests.


• Providing a warm welcome to guests and assisting with basic guest inquiries regarding spa services and schedules.


• Supporting the spa team with administrative tasks, such as maintaining treatment records and inventory management.


• Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.


• Continuing professional development through training, gaining new skills, and enhancing knowledge in various spa treatment areas.


• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting guests with post-treatment care and recommendations.

• Interest in pursuing a career in the spa and wellness industry


• Ability to work well in a team environment


• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn


• Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset


• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
