Eleology, is a premium organic extra virgin olive oil commercial company , committed to empowering sustainable olive oil farmers in Greece . Αs part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced Field Sales Representative – New Business Development for an assigned territory.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Field Sales Representative , who will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth within the territory. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable traveling, and have a passion for meeting customers face-to-face. . This is a crucial role , serving as the base and foundation of the company’s sales efforts . It reports directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing and is based in Athens .
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Actively pursues new sales / new business opportunities, develops new clients by identifying decision makers and directly contacting and visiting them
- Negotiates contracts and agreements to secure a long-term business growth and customers’ loyalty
- Takes orders and ensures timely product delivery and full customer satisfaction
- Builds and maintains strong relationships to grow customer base
- Monitors sales performance
- Conducts regular field visits to ensure selling progress and merchandising standards
- Ensures the timely and full collection of accounts payable and minimizes financial risk , as per defined commercial policy
- Conducts competitive intelligence activities to gather insights on the points of sale.
- Actively participates in company products’ presentation events / trade fairs
- Reports on sales performance and progress
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in field sales and business development, ideally in high end/gourmet , organic food stores/retailers and HO.RE.CA . An already established clients network will be highly appreciated .
- Experience in the food or agriculture industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- IT literate
- Fluent in English
