Your Role:



  • As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will support the development of international sales.

  • Reporting to the Business Development Manager and member of the leadership team, this position involves creating, developing and expanding the presence of VERAL internationally.

  • You have extensive experience in selling services to the cosmetics market and a good understanding of the products and services offered by VERAL, you would support the current business growth across top cosmetic companies and retailers and drive commercial activities to enhance overall business and profitability.



Your Responsibilities will Include:



  • Work with operational scientific resources and members of the business development team to implement the defined Sales strategy and meet customer needs.

  • Understand and appropriately communicate our offer to our customers. Maintain account awareness and evolving market knowledge.

  • Expand the global client portfolio and increase sales and margins by implementing the commercial strategy and action plan.

  • Develop and manage top accounts directly, including relationship management, negotiation of pricing and commercial conditions with a focus on achieving mutual benefits.

  • Develop and work with CRM databases on a timely basis to enrich our customer knowledge, track business and develop new opportunities.

  • Monitor sales and margins and generate monthly reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with marketing in participating to cosmetics trade shows and other external events.

  • Encourage the identification of new opportunities and improvement actions through fruitful collaboration with the marketing, innovation, R&D lab and regulatory teams.


Your Profile:



  • Degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or other Life Science fields related to our activities, ideally combined with an MBA or a Marketing degree to complete this scientific base.

  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required, and proficiency in French is a plus.

  • MS Office, ERP, CRM, Project Management programs literate.


Your Personal skills:



  • A background in the cosmetics industry, with good understanding of the R&D and regulatory processes as well as the commercial environment within the cosmetics industry.

  • “Business hunter” profile and successful experience in setting up and developing international BtoB sales in a dynamic environment.

  • Customer focus: understanding and definition of customer needs, creation of value for customers, establishment in-depth relationships with customers.

  • Experience in structuring and modeling deals.

  • Possess business development mindset, focusing on driving growth and seizing opportunities.

  • Cultural adaptability and impact: a motivated, dynamic and pragmatic person with emotional intelligence and a strong entrepreneurial spirit to develop the business and create value.

  • Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.

  • Strong team spirit, sense of responsibility and customer service.
