Biostatistician & Data Analyst

Medwork, a leading pharmacovigilance service provider in Greece, is seeking a skilled and committed Biostatistician & Data Analyst.

About the Role:

This multifaceted role blends the analytical rigor of biostatistics with the practical insights of data analysis, supporting key functions such as regulatory submissions, signal detection, and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform statistical analyses on clinical and scientific data to support signal detection and regulatory submissions.


• Develop and validate statistical models, including those tailored for disproportionate analysis in complex and heterogeneous datasets.


• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and actionable outcomes.


• Collaborate with pharmacovigilance and medical teams to interpret, present, and critically evaluate study outcomes and data analyses derived from large medical datasets, including those from clinical trials, epidemiological studies, and large pharmacovigilance databases.


• Prepare comprehensive reports, visualizations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


• Design systems for data collection to evaluate workflows, production steps, or other organizational processes.


• Analyze and present results in accessible formats, including graphical representations, to help management understand complex processes, make decisions, identify issues, and improve operations.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Biostatistics and relevant master is required.


• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, SAS, or Python.


• Strong skills in data manipulation, visualization, and interpretation.


• Experience working with clinical or pharmacovigilance datasets.


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills to simplify and present complex statistical information effectively.
