The Goal

OpenBet is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Athens. This role will be responsible for recruiting key roles technical roles and support functions in Athens.

As an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist you will have technical recruiting expertise for developers and engineers across all levels, a proactive search approach, a strong evaluator of talent, the ability to develop strong relationships with managers and stakeholders, and the ability to manage full life cycle recruiting from opening through offer. You will be well connected across the talent market in Athens.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Sharing and describing all of the offerings of OpenBet to leads and potential candidates through telephone interviews or face-to-face meetings
  • Evaluate candidates for their experience, capabilities, and motivations to determine strong matches for roles that we have available
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand each role and requirements while also understanding what the new hire will have the opportunity to do and achieve in the role
  • Creating exceptional candidate experiences. You will make sure that potential candidates are meeting the right interviewers and that we are making sure that they are looked after at every stage of the process
  • Manage the search process from start to finish, conducting thorough search kick-off meetings, developing initial leads, evaluating leads and candidates, making recommendations to hiring managers, leading and managing the interview process, debriefs, and handling the offer process with expertise
  • Articulating the risks and benefits of a hire. From the first time you speak with a potential candidate, you are assessing their strengths and weaknesses so that we can make lower risk hiring decisions
  • Advising around the uptake of social networking within our recruiting function and helping OpenBet to capitalize on these tools
  • Responsible for ensuring system adherence and compliance
  • Manage post offer candidate engagement to ensure seamless onboarding

The Player

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting and sourcing experience, with a proven track record of engaging technical talent
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding in an high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills to measure, evaluate, and optimize recruitment workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and the Talent Acquisition team
  • Proficiency in executing recruiting strategies, including employer branding, diversity hiring, and process optimization
  • Expertise in leveraging hiring tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and reporting systems to track progress and outcomes
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of thriving in an extremely fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Experience recruiting with a DEI mindset, implementing diverse sourcing strategies and hiring practices
  • Employer Branding: Experience supporting and strengthening employer brand through social media, job boards, or other platforms
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to understand talent needs and drive recruiting strategies
